Prime Minister's Research Fellow
IIT Bombay
I am Subhajit Kundu, PMRF research fellow at IIT Bombay India in the Department of Chemistry. My research is focused on the synthesis and characterization of new organometallic complexes for their potential use as homogeneous catalysts. My work involves state-of-the-art synthesis techniques, advanced characterization methods, and their application in the catalytic synthesis of biologically relevent molecules. I am passionate about solving challenging scientific problems and making a positive impact through my research.
Research Interests
As a researcher at IIT Bombay, I am interested in exploring the fundamental aspects of inorganic and organometallic chemistry. My research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of new organometallic complexes for the application of C-C and C-heteroatom bond formation reactions in multi-cycle tandem catalysis, asymmetric catalysis, bifunctional catalysis, oxidation reactions, and olefin polymerization are all of my current interest. Through my research, I hope to make significant contributions to the field of materials science and help address some of the key challenges facing our society today.
